Aileen Burns in an art historian, writer and curator, and Johan Lundh a curator, writer and translator. Burns holds a Masters Degree from the Modern Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies program at Columbia University in New York. Lundh holds a MFA and a Post-Graduate Degree in Curatorial Studies from Konstfack University College in Stockholm. Separately and together, they have curated exhibitions, projects, and events for venues such as Bergen Kunsthall, Bergen; FormContent, London; Justina M. Barnicke Gallery, Toronto; Konsthall C, Stockholm; Stiftelsen 3,14, Bergen; and Western Front, Vancouver. Their essays, interviews and criticism appears in publications such as Art in America; Art Lies; Art Papers; Canadian Art; C Magazine; Fillip; Konstnären; Konstperspektiv; Metropolis M; Mousse; Yishu, as well as books and catalogues. Furthermore, they have participated in residencies at The Banff Centre, Banff; Fogo Island Arts Corporation, Fogo Island; Frankfurter Kunstverein, Frankfurt; and HIAP, Helsinki.
